Nathan Tatum joined the U.S. Climate Alliance as a State-Federal Climate Policy Intern in June 2023, supporting the Alliance’s state and federal policy efforts. Nathan is a dual Juris Doctor and Master of Public Policy candidate at Georgetown University, where he is also a member of the Georgetown Environmental Law Review. He previously served as a Governor’s Fellow in the Policy Office of Virginia Governor Ralph S. Northam. He has also interned with leadership in the Virginia General Assembly and with multiple federal executive agencies, including the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of General Counsel and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Legal Division. Originally from Florida, Nathan received his B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law from the University of Richmond. He currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
