Christa Michelet is the Policy Advisor, Buildings at the U.S. Climate Alliance. Previously, she served as an Energy Policy Analyst at Duquesne Light Company, the electric distribution utility serving the Pittsburgh region, where she focused on building electrification and other clean energy matters.
Prior to working in the utility industry, she worked in the nonprofit sector on a variety of climate and energy policy issues, from the local to the international levels. She held roles at The Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, and RMI. Christa holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Carleton College and a master’s degree in environmental management from Duke University.
