Confronting climate change represents an opportunity for Maryland to lead — and together, we can be a leader in wind technology, in grid electrification, and in clean transit. We will protect our Chesapeake Bay, and address the toxic air pollution that chokes our cities. And we will put Maryland on track to generate 100 percent clean energy by 2035 — creating thousands of jobs in the process.
Maryland is advancing high-impact climate policies, actions, and regulations across the Alliance’s 10 key policy areas. These solutions — centered around equity, environmental justice, and a just economic transition — are being deployed at scale to safeguard public health, grow the U.S. economy, and secure a net-zero future.
