Schneider Sustainable Energy Fellow

Kaden Nguyen is a Schneider Sustainable Energy Fellow at the U.S. Climate Alliance, where he assists the Member Support team in the development of state climate policy databases and conducts research on policy implementation and impact metrics. A rising junior at Stanford University majoring in Political Science with minors in Environmental Justice and Asian American Studies, Kaden brings a strong interdisciplinary background to his climate policy work.

 

Prior to joining the Alliance, he contributed to federal and nonprofit environmental efforts as a legal intern with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division and as the U.S. Policy Intern at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions. He also supported biodiversity policy coordination with Point Blue Conservation Science, including participation in the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity COP 16.

 

On campus, Kaden serves on multiple advisory boards, including for the Asian American Activities Center and the Partnerships for Climate Justice in the Bay, where he uplifts student voices in climate justice and equity initiatives. He is also a Peer Advisor and Leadership, Action, and Organizing Fellow at the Haas Center for Public Service, where he develops skills in grassroots organizing and public narrative to support environmental and racial justice movements.
