Marwa Kamel is a Senior Policy Advisor for Climate Infrastructure and IRA/IIJA implementation with the U.S. Climate Alliance. Kamel has 15 years’ experience in climate and sustainability, spanning the international, state, and local levels of action. Most notably, she worked on international climate finance frameworks and reporting at the Global Environment Facility. At the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Kamel worked on New Jersey’s roadmap to 100% clean energy, and later consulted to local governments and businesses to align with, and commit to, the 2050 vision. She holds a M. Sc. in Sustainable Systems from the University of Michigan, and a B. Sc. in Biology from George Mason University.
