When President Joe Biden unveiled his American Jobs Plan, he made it clear that, “if we act now, in 50 years, people are going to look back and say this was the moment that America won the future.” 

This virtual U.S. Climate Alliance event featured National Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy and governors from across the country, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, Hawaii Gov. David Ige and Maine Gov. Janet Mills, as well as Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes. These climate leaders detailed and discussed how Alliance states and the Biden Administration are growing their new partnership, expanding economic opportunity and winning the future through bold, collaborative climate action.
